“ I was craving some Jamaican food around 10pm on a Friday and I noticed that they closed at 11 so I went to pick up some food. I got some oxtail and some fried plantains and let me tell you it was to die for. Oxtail was paired with the Jamaican style rice mixed with some large brown beans. Also came with cabbage veggies. Super flavorful. Meat fell off the bone. Yumm. Portion was large and I thought price was much cheaper than most places. Definitely cheaper than Jerk Hut right around the corner. The lady that was working there was so sweet and nice and had the most beautiful Jamaican accent. I will definitely be coming back because I want to try their Ackee Saltfish, because I never had that before and it just sounds so good. If you go there late night on a weekend just ignore the ppl that sit out front they are harmless and are just socializing. It’s a cultural thing. Photo of my dinner attached ”
“ Very friendly owner. Everyone seems very easy going. The food taste just like how you get on the road in jamaica. I loved my jerk chicken. ”
“ Great hole in the wall place with delish food! We have tried the oxtail, the jerk chicken and the chicken stew....all very good! More of a take-out since, besides one table outside, there is really no place to sit and eat but we sat outside and it was fine. Very friendly owner's. A must try! ”
“ Great food, great service, & not obnoxiously over priced like the other local places ”
“ Traditional Jamaican cuisine lots of food at a great price. You will not regret stopping by for a bite to eat... ... ”
“ Who agrees that some small, not so extravagant spots have the best foods. I ordered the jamaican Patty, and they were good. I don't think they were homemade, though. ”
“ Just started going here about a month now after my Barber told me about them and he is so right, their food is 100% tasty and flavorful. Now I can't stop going there for food. Price is decent and service is good. I do recommend them to someone, somebody, anybody and everybody! ”
“ The place looks a little shabby, and there isn't much in the way of an eating area, but wow the food was amazing! The staff seemed really nice if not a bit shy, but on my 2 week trip through Florida, this was my favorite meal I had! (I had the jerk chicken). 10/10 definitely would eat at again (at least, if there was a location in Pennsylvania)! ”
